Unfortunately, Branded Goods produced in China are these days increasingly being stocked at warehouses in Asia because the European buyers cannot pay their bills. The goods (produced for EU), then needs to be sold to a commodity trader or directly to other retailers.
The financial crisis in 2009 also hit a major German retailer who went bankrupt. A large order of 3 x 40” containers of official branded goods, which was already manufactured in mainland China, was therefore cancelled.
AsiaCorp was contacted by one of our strategic partners in Asia, and we managed to find another buyer for the goods in Europe through our close connections to a number of larger European retailers and trading companies.
