KAPTEN & SON LOOKING FOR NEW ADVENTURES IN ASIA-PACIFIC

As part of Kapten & Son‘s global expansion strategy, the brand has appointed AsiaCorp as their market entry partner for selected markets in Asia, sourcing and securing the best possible distribution partners for this German lifestyle brand.

Kapten & Son creates statement pieces with character – for every character, with stylish design watches, sunglasses and accessories for the global citizen.

Kapten & Son’s ultimate goal is to let their customers be a Kapten at the helm of their own lives – supporting their journeys and adventures around the world with their thoughtfully designed, stylish and reliable products. Some watches can be configured by the customer with up to 300 individual configurations.

The brand is represented in 29 countries and in more than 1,000 shops. Kapten & Son is already present in some Asia-Pacific countries, but are now looking for further expansion in this important region.

NEW EXITING STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH HONG KONG BASED SKANDIASTYLE

We are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership agreement with the Hong Kong based SkandiaStyle. In cooperation with SkandiaStyle, AsiaCorp is now launching the two Nordic brands: Les Deux and RAZspa.

SkandiaStyle is a multi-brand digital boutique, passionate about offering the very best in Nordic style within fashion, lifestyle  editorials, visual inspirations, and carefully curated fashion and home goods. Everything on the site carries an authentic Nordic DNA and has been hand-selected from some of the most coveted local brands.

SkandiaStyle already carry a large number of high profiled Scandinavian brands such as: Holmegaard, Montana, AYTM, Hoptimist, Arne Jacobsen, Kay Bojesen, Aviendo, Design House Stockholm, Rosendahl, 24Bottles and RAINS.

FINNISH BREWERY GROUP, OLVI, THIRSTY FOR A SIP OF THE JAPANESE BEER MARKET

The Finnish beverage company OLVI has appointed AsiaCorp to assist in market analysis prior to stepping into the Japanese market.

OLVI is the only independent brewery in Finland, and has produced both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages since 1878. The company holds a market share of 24% in alcoholic beverages in Finland, and are now aiming to penetrate the Japanese market. The OLVI parant company is currently only operating locally in Finland, Belarus and the Baltic states, making the new export strategy a big step for the company.

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY IN CHINA FOR NORDIC FMCG PRODUCTSSOURCING PREMIUM SCANDINAVIAN INFANT, BABY AND FEMALE ORIENTED FMGC PRODUCTS FOR CHINA

China has recently ended it’s one-child policy after 35 years. The government now allows all couples to have two children as ‘response to an ageing population’ and amid concerns over economy. As a result to this, there is an expected massive growth potential in China for premium products targeted female/pregnants/mothers/infant and babies.

Fung Group has decided to enter to target this enormous business opportunity and have established a new brand building and distribution company focusing on imported premium consumer products & infant/baby products. The aim is to leverage Fung Groups solid distribution networks of premium supermarkets, baby chain and e-commerce and fulfill the needs of consumption upgrade in mainland China market.

AsiaCorp has been working with Fung Group on a number of projects over the last decade, and we are very pleased now also to work with this new division of Fung Group as their Scandinavian sourcing arm, and we are therefore able to offer selected brands this massive business opportunity for the mainland China market.
