In this February edition we are presenting a couple of new very interesting business opportunities, which we can offer brands to explore. An increased number of our clients and leads we are talking to, have requested our market entry service for the Japanese market. We have added additional skilled recourses internally for this market and have also launched a Japanese version of our website, as a service to the potential partners in Japan. Finally we are happy to welcome and present our new strategic partner, Camilla Deichmann, who has a strong international background and is an expert in jewelry and premium fashion.

SOURCING PREMIUM SCANDINAVIAN INFANT, BABY AND FEMALE ORIENTED FMGC PRODUCTS FOR CHINA

Our blue chip client, a listed company on the Hong Kong stock exchange, and with HQ in Shanghai for this specific division, has asked AsiaCorp to present them for interesting high quality Scandinavian infant, baby and female oriented FMGC products for them to become distributor/importer for. Our client wants to leverage their solid distribution networks in mainland of + 10,000 premium supermarkets, baby chains and e-commerce platforms, in order to fulfill the needs of consumption upgrade in mainland China market. They are initially focusing on Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities, but will also move to Tier 1 and 2 within 6-8 month. 

WORLD CLASS LUXURY MANUFACTURER FROM CHINA LOOKING TO BUY SCANDINAVIAN BRANDS WITH A FOOTHOLD IN CHINA

One of the largest investment groups in China (with total assets of 30 billions €) has signed up with AsiaCorp to find potential brands, who are interested to either sell their company or expand their business by adding a strong local partner, who are able to scale the business to all of China.
Again, a new type of assignment for AsiaCorp and with a huge potential for strong suitable Scandinavian brands.

CHINESE INVESTORS LOOKING FOR ACQUISITION OR INVESTMENT IN MEDICO/HEALTHCARE BRANDS FROM SCANDINAVIA

On behalf of one of the largest venture capital funds in China, one of our strategic partners in China has given the assignment to AsiaCorp to find suitable large-scale medico/healthcare brands who are interested in selling their current business or making a JV for China.

We are very honoured to be given this opportunity and see a lot of opportunities in the future for such investments from China in Scandinavian brands.

INCREASED FOCUS ON THE JAPANESE MARKET 

Following the 150 year anniversary last year of the business relations between Japan and Denmark, we have been approached by a number of our existing clients, as well as new clients, who are interested in entering this the 3rd largest economy in the world.

We are currently involved in assignments in Japan for brands within fashion, home interior design, jewelry and food & beverage and have also just launched a Japanese version of our website.

FERRARELLE TAPPING INTO THE LUCRATIVE SINGAPORE MARKET

Ferrarelle SpA, the largest mineral water brand in Italy, exported to over 40 countries worldwide, has signed up with AsiaCorp to help to get a stronger foothold and share of the market in Singapore. From our local representative based in Singapore, AsiaCorp will be penetrating the Singaporean market to try to secure distributor(s) and sales for this highly respected brand.

Camilla holds an MBA from Stanford University and has a deep industry knowledge from the jewelry/accessories industry. Before making an exit to a Chinese investor in 2016, she was CEO and co-owner of “EVITA PERONI” women’s hair and fashion accessories, globally leading the brands international expansion. EVITA PERONI was a client of AsiaCorp, so Camilla has a very good understanding of our services and what our clients are looking for and expecting.
